Savory to the eye but Sweet to eat! I was given this challenge and was so excited to see it come to life. Many hours spent and many attempts failed, but I think I finally pulled it off. BBQ Ribs with Baked Beans. MmmmmMmmmmm

Baby Shower Cake

Congrats to my sister Jacqueline! She is about to deliver a baby girl and I was so excited to make her this cake for her baby shower.

Made these for my little sisters grad party. The hat is made out of chocolate marshmallow fondant. My favorite tasting fondant I've made so far! Kinda had a fudge like texture.

Sesame Street

I made some cupcakes for Broc's 2nd birthday. (I have been babysitting him for just under a year now.)

Mario Cake

My nephew turned 5 this weekend. So I wanted to make him a special cake. He LOVES Super Mario Bros. on Wii so that's where I got my idea. It took me a good 3 days to make it. I'm tired, my house is a mess, but I was so happy to help make his day special. He seemed to really enjoy the cake but was the most excited because I told him he could keep the action figures on the cake. haha

Easter Basket

I made an Easter basket. I didn't have much time to spend on it though... I think if I had more time I could have been more creative. Maybe next year.

Just for fun

I have been dying to get back into the swing of things and start decorating cakes again. So... I decided to create a blog so you all (anyone who cares) can see what I've been up to. Being a mommy of two and four children in my care during the day, I may be a slacker and not have posts up as often as I'd like, but hang in there. I'll get em up eventually! =)

My entire goal is to create a one of a kind cake. I don't mind using a molded cake pan here and there, but I get so much enjoyment out of creating my own design. If you have a "Special Occasion" that calls for something "Sweet", let me know. Maybe I"ll have some time to help you out! Or, maybe you have an idea or challenge for me! =) If I find more time to actually devote to this hobby, I may start advertising and selling them. For now... It'll just have to stay a hobby!
